BE MOBILE:

FASCIAL STRETCH THERAPY

Feeling tight, locked-up or have a nagging injury? Looking for that missing piece to take your training to the next level? This specialized, one-of-a-kind, performance stretching technique can get you there.

What is it? Fascial Stretch Therapy is a unique assisted stretch technique focused on increasing mobility of the muscle, fascia, and joints. By manipulating, lengthening, and re-aligning your fascia, chronic pain and stiffness is decreased—helping to enhance performance, flexibility and recovery.

Benefits:

  • Improves flexibility on the first session and becomes cumulative with multiple sessions

  • Enhances movement efficiency

  • Extends your training career

  • Increases sports performance

  • Creates optimal circulation in your muscles, joints, arteries, veins, brains, and spinal cord

  • Restores normal joint space

  • Promotes muscle activation and relaxation

  • Improves posture and functional ability

YOUR FIRST SESSION - WHAT TO EXPECT

For your first session try and arrive 5 min early to fill out a waiver for the gym and for my business. Wear comfortable workout clothes (women typically wear yoga pants and men wear shorts or pants). If you wear sandals or flip flops, bring a pair of socks. A bottle for water is recommended as well.  We have a full locker room with showers, soap, shampoo, and towel service (bring your own lock).

During the first 10-20 minutes we will go over an extensive injury/medical history and review what's currently bothering you.

For the rest of the session, we'll dive into FST and to address your current issues as well as some of the typical problems that most people experience.

At the end of the session I will give you my professional recommendations on how to proceed moving forward and a brief homework assignment to get you started on making permanent changes in your body.

Ready to see the difference one FST session can make?

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

I started seeing Matt for FST because even with Pilates and other regular exercise, I had extreme inflexibility due to decades of poor body mechanics (hunching over a computer screen for work).

In addition to positive results from the weekly sessions, Matt is always asking the right questions and giving life tips to improve my physical well being. It is obvious that he cares about his clients and takes great pride in providing excellent service.
